Description: ES houses grades K-4 and is home to an average of 400 students. Our Kindergarten classes are in school all day, every day which has resulted in 80% of students testing at the norm or higher in reading and math. Our third graders continue to attain the necessary scores on state and MAP tests to all advance to fourth grade each year, as determined by the Ohio Third Grade Reading Guarantee Law. In addition to their classroom learning, JES students attend an enrichment class of music, art, library, or physical education throughout the week. Third and fourth grade students also have the opportunity to participate in student council, entrepreneur fairs and the accelerated reader program. In the Spring of 2016, the Ohio Department of Education awarded JES with a Performance Index Score of an ‘A’!
