If I could give this facility zero stars, I would. My son attended this facility before they switched to this company. Before they switched over to the new company, the school was always clean, the staff always looked after the kids, and they were always friendly. When the new company took over, things went really well for a while. Soon, my son got moved over to the preschool class. I wasn't warned about this. So I didn't get a real first day of Pre-K moment. Things went well in that class for a while. And out of no where, he was coming home with more homework than a second grader. The rooms were starting to look worse and worse. The whole place began to feel disgusting by the end of our time there. My son was getting all bad reports. And that wasn't like him. The teacher randomly left the school. Didn't tell any parents she was quitting. Next thing I knew the classroom was way too full. My son came home with a BLACK EYE. I asked the teacher what happened and she stated, "there's too many kids in here to know what happened." I was furious. About a week later, I picked my son up. (He was potty trained at this point.) His pants were soaked and he smelled like poop. He later told us that the teacher called him ugly and stupid. The teacher also told him to shut up. And kicked/hit him. We removed him the next day. They told us they usually charge for quitting without a 2 week notice. But understood and that was the end. From other reviews, it sounds like nothing has changed in the last few years. My son went on the Cat & the Hat field trip that was mentioned below. I wish I would've read that review before now. I probably would've made my decision to pull him out before he was hit and verbally abused.
This is a HORRIBLE DAYCARE if you can call it that. My children went to this daycare and I took them out when a teacher hit my child. YES I SAID TEACHER HIT MY CHILD. the place is dirty and nasty and they will let anyone work there cause they are so desperate. NEVER SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been to this daycare as recommended by Child Care Answers, and I was not impressed. As soon as I walked in, it was disgusting. I work in the health care field and this place has some OSHA violations, I'm sure. The floors were dirty, all the poor little children had snot and heavy diapers that needed changing, the teachers; as he said above, were rude and obnoxious. The children did not look happy, and I was supposed to tour the 1 year old room. Needless to say, I never made it past the first room. You could tell, there was not a cleaning soul in that entire facility.
Was at a cat in the hat performance and saw this group there. I do not normally do this, in fact I have never done this, but iamb a strong believer that you should know who is taking care of your kids. The way that some of those ladies treated those children in my opinion, is unacceptable. I was in the bathroom with the one lady who was screaming at the kids because they were taking too long to go to the bathroom after only being in there for a minute. minute. She was aggravated because the one little girl did not know how to flush the toilet and so she out at her. Then out in the vestibule area one of the little girls was crying and instead of comforting her another lady made it a point to scream out that she was having an attitude and for everyone to ignore her The way that some of those ladies treated as kids would not be a place that I would feel comfortable taking my child and leaving them there. I just thought I would send a review to let others know that your child may not be getting the best care for your money.
