I have had my son at OLCDC for a little over a year now and I couldn't be happier. The leadership is very involved and approachable and there are lots of opportunities to join in on activities to see how my child is being cared for and meet other parents. I drop him off everyday, confident that he is being well taken care of. The teachers are hands on, the curriculum is varied and the staff is welcoming and friendly. They provide meals which is a big help. The facilities aren't new but it's a warm, nurturing environment. There is a bit of teacher turnover but I think that's common at most schools. I plan to keep my child here until he starts elementary.
This place is such a nightmare. There is such a high turnover rate with the teachers, it is unbelievable. My child went through 4 different teachers in less that 4 months. The director is obnoxious and rude not only to her staff, but to parents as well. There are no pictures of the kids on the walls, no art displayed, and the food they serve to the children seems institutional. They basically, have cream of wheat for breakfast and some kind of soup for lunch. The vibe walking in there is just so negative and awkward, it was hard to drop my child off there at all. This is a faith based place and this has never felt that way. The teachers seem so unhappy and in experienced. Please look elsewhere, this is not a good place for children.
