Description: LITTLE TEXAS STARS is a family owned and operated preschool. Don and Brenda Walden are the owners and started keeping children in their home in 2002 with one child. By 2004 the number of kids had risen to 12. In order to accommodate the growing demand for quality childcare Don and Brenda decided to move out of their house and convert it into a full time daycare facility. In 2007 their son Don Mark became involved and took over the administrative side of the business. Later that year their daughter-in-law Morgan Walden joined in and helped teach the children. By 2007 the daycare had grown to over 50 kids and needed to be moved to a larger building. Within the first year in our new facility located next to Tison Middle School the numbers had risen to 73 children. We believe our growth has been a blessing from the Lord as a result of taking care of children in a loving and caring way that pleases the Lord. Our teachers reflect our values and beliefs when taking care of children. Our teachers are an extension of our family and we could not have made it this far without them.
