I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I removed by daughter from daycare due to safety concerns I expressed to the owner. Instead of investigating the owner then accused my daughter of aggressive behavior 3 months prior. When asked for footage they could not provide it. I never signed any incident reports and I was never notified of these alleged actions before this conversation. My daughters teacher was accused the next day of hitting a student. When my daughter was removed the daycare the childcare was paid up until that time. They referred me to a debt collection agency for not providing a 2 week notice. I informed the owner and debt collection agency my daughter was removed due to safety concerns and attached the CPS report I filed. The owners response was “This is not a safety issue it’s a non payment issue”. The daycare has since been cited for 2 safety violations by the Texas Department of public safety.

....only because I had to give them AT LEAST one star. This daycare center was actually in my top 3 places after touring centers all around town. It's clean and very beautiful inside. Do NOT BE FOOLED. The owners/staff is nasty when they talk to you. Mr. Thomas, the male owner, was explaining a process of theirs to me once, and because I wasn't understanding him he asked if I couldn't hear straight and what was wrong with me because I'm a teacher. (As if I should understand since I'm educated) very belittling in his tone always. The final straw for me was walking in on several Monday's only to be told my child couldn't attend that day until they had some paperwork from the doctor. I literally was on the way to work at 6:30AM AND was told this. Who does that? I had to scurry to find someone to watch my child that day...A DAY THAT WAS PAID FOR ALREADY. The sad part is that we just had a check up and I turned in shot records but they need a separate note saying we had an appointment which makes no sense. (No one said a thing when I turned in other papers) They don't even tell you that certain items are needed until you walk in to drop off, and at 6:30 AM what doctors office is open? Very inconvenient and worst part is....THEY DO NOT CARE. WHEN I picked up on the previous Friday no one said a thing about it. To top it off, this happens quite frequently and every single parent was getting stopped at the door, not just us. I was told they would call the cops on me because other parents were asking me what was going on since the unfriendly girl they had at the desk wasn't answering anyone's questions. It's almost like since their paperwork isn't in order, last minute they just inconvenience the parents and put it off on us. It's so rude and inconsiderate and when I tell you no one cares....they look at you and treat you like they gave notice and we had prior knowledge. The female couldn't/didn't answer questions past this is what you are missing and they can't attend today. Period. Not so if EVERYONE is missing the SAME paperwork. No MAAM!! (Oversight on their part) Once I had an issue with an employee, Ms. Cat (or Pat?, older lady) put her hands on my son for absolutely no reason. I got a note/call saying my child would be suspended if he put his hands on the teacher again. Well the story I got from the teacher didn't make sense given how my child operates. I asked to see the tape and low and behold, totally different from what I was told. Nothing she said added up and to top it off she had no reason to touch him, it was after she was forceful with him that he pushed her off of him. While reviewing the tape Mr. Thomas did not even stay while we watched it. He left me and the teacher in question to hash it out alone. I am disgusted with this "Christian School" that has not one characteristic of being such. Our experience was terrible. We won't even talk about how they charge for everything!!! (Curriculum Books to just color in, snacks, to swipe your card/pay tuition, to get a key to enter facility....) My son started at 3 and was required to wear a uniform and lord forbid something was off that day, I got a note threatening he'd have to go home the next time he wore jeans on a Friday! Oh, and give yourself about 10 minutes before closing time because they will leave you outside ringing the doorbell just so they can charge you for it. This happened to me by two minutes because no one answered the door and I picked my son up as usual. I came in the next morning and I was completely blindsided/told he couldn't attend until I paid a late fee. I did not know I even owed the late fee but surely my name was on a list and they had their bully at the front who does their dirty work and tells parents they can't attend for the day. Just terrible. At least say something before hand, make me aware so I'm not stuck getting a babysitter for the day I prepaid for. They do not care!!!

Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I would t let my worst enemy take their child here..

Don't be fooled my the facility. It is nice, but it is over priced and not worth the $500 a month plus an extra $250 for books and supplies or the extra $50 a month if you would like your kid to take the karate or dance class twice a week. They are not learning sign language and barely any Spanish. The female owner has NO people skills, and does not know how to resolve conflict professionally. They'll smile in your face to get you in the door, but beware after that. Also safety is lax, don't be fooled by that buzzer they have to let you in because anyone can come and go as they please.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Today I removed Adilyn, my 3 year old daughter, from her daycare, Little Lambs Learning Academy located in Killeen, Texas on W.S. Young.
I have been a strong supporter of this business over the last 2 years until recently because of some of the staff's behavior toward parents.

I recorded on my phone the owners daughter screaming at another parent in the lobby right in front of my 3 year old daughter. I reached out to the owners as a concerned parent but have been completely ignored along with other parents voicing the same concerns. The owners refuse to listen to multiple parent complaints about their daughter's misconduct as a manager at the daycare.

I cannot support or endorse this business. I do hope and pray that they change and grow from this. Please private message me for further details on the incident.

I used to love this daycare! My nieces and nephews and son all came to this facility. The staff was wonderful and seemed well trained and professional. UNTIL RECENTLY, all the staff that I had known for a couple years were replaced with young, untrained caregivers. And I use caregiver lightly. I'm assuming they replaced the qualified staff with the unqualified for expense reasons, which leads me to believe they're only in it for the money. If you work 12hr shifts like most people, your child isn't getting a dinner here. From 11:30-6 they're only fed a lunch and a small snack, no dinner! My child comes home hungry every day. When I bring him to class one of the caregivers is sitting at a desk with her head down, is she sleeping or what? Either way she isn't watching these kids. I don't like the attitude or environment that has dramatically changed. My son cries every time i leave him there now, and the way they handle crying children upsets me. This place is terrible! It was the end for me when my son came home with three DEEP bite marks on both of his arms. How could this have happened if they were watching these children the way the way they're supposed to? I pay $500 a month to a facility that I'm supposed to feel my son is safe at and he apparently isn't. I wasn't even given an incident report for this injury. I'm not sure about the other teachers but if your child is in the 2-3 age group please don't bring him/her here!

My child attended this daycare for a year. Throughout that year, I witnessed the quality of the daycare reduce significantly. During my child's time there, there were several staff members that came and went and there would be no acknowledgement or reason for the teacher’s absence. I witnessed the staff members and teachers whispering and gossiping daily as I would arrive to pick my child up. The owner Joyce is extremely rude and has absolutely no people skills. Some days she will walk by and speak and on other days she would not. The focus is no longer on learning in this facility. The staff members are overpaid baby sitters. The curriculum that I paid for was not being implemented. There are over 30 students in the 3 year old classes with only one teacher and aide to supervise. My child had a new teacher and within weeks the teacher disappeared. No one decided to share this information with the parents. I had to ask management, and they stated that things did not work out with that teacher. I was assured that my child would have a new teacher within a week, but 2 months later there was no new teacher. There was a teenage girl in the class that the management said was "helping them out until they find a replacement". Initially I was reluctant to remove my child from this daycare (absolutely will not call it a learning academy) because I did not want to take my child from their friends, but I am finding that most of them have been switched to other facilities as well. Upon enrolling my child, the staff assured me that spanish and sign language would be taught, but my child was never taught any. They pride themselves on the fact that there are no tv's in the classrooms, however they take the children into the theater to watch disney movies daily. There were several days I arrived to pick up my child and the class would be empty. I would ask management or other teaches where the class was. They would respond by shrugging their shoulders and saying look in a different room. This is not what any parent should experience after being away from their child the full work day. This facility does not keep parents updated on their child’s progress. There are no report cards or learning updates provided. I would not recommend anyone take their child to this daycare. It is not a comfortable environment for children and there is not focus on learning.
