(Previously posted review--my son has learning disabilities and I will never forgive this daycare for how they treated him)
I have no idea how this place has good reviews! Maybe people just don't observe.
While my son was there over the course of a little more than a month, he became combative because of how much the kids in his class would fight. One of his teachers was slapping his hands to keep him from playing with the toys. Instead of firing her? She was transferred to their new school in Jarrell! AND the teachers ganged up on my son in retaliation for him telling. What adults gang up on a 3 year old?? When I picked him up, he was so traumatized he begged me to not go back!
I witnessed a teacher yelling right in the face of one of the younger toddlers. The teacher at the end of the hall was bullying one of her students verbally-going on and on to a boy about how 'it's not hard to just plant your butt on the floor and stay there...' She was on him for like 5 minutes. Relentless. In their 2 year old room, the teacher left the children unsupervised to go to the bathroom and a little fell and got hurt.
When I told them my child would not be coming back, they called the police and said my child had an immediate and dire head injury! WHAT!! The police SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE WITH GUNS DRAWN while we were in the middle of a movie night! Shocked doesn't begin to cover it!! These people are nuts. If you have kids here, be careful. They're not as nice as they seem at first!! And consider dropping in on your kid when the director is not there (often she's not). That's when I saw all of these things occurring.
I’m not sure what the previous reviewer’s issue was, but that is simply not true. They are fantastic in every way. The teachers there actually spend time and engage the children in teaching, playing and in everything they do. My children have gotten far more developmental help (educationally and socially) than what can reasonably be expected anywhere else. They go out of their way to bring in fun things for the kids, and send the children’s education home so the parents can review it. My wife and I are about to have twins, and they will be attending the Kid’s Zone.
Shady business. They don't care for their children that they care for. They don't operate in a professional manner. Horrible company
