Description: The Dragonfly Learning Center will provide an atmosphere that encourages social, emotional,physical and intellectual growth. The curriculum includes dramatic play, creative art activities, music, science activities, block play, sensory activities, daily outdoor play and celebration of holidays and birthdays. Children will be exposed to shapes, numbers, colors, spanish,sign language, and letters through small group instruction.

WE LOVE DRAGONFLY! My daughter has been with this daycare for a little over a year now. They are always doing activities, fun dress up themes and she is bringing me something home every day that she made. ALL teachers and staff are nothing but smiles when you walk in. Rooms stay clean, smell clean and I am constantly seeing teachers wiping things down when i walk in. I feel comfortable every day dropping my daughter off knowing that she is safe and loved. thank you Dragonfly!
The people who work here are nice people, it is clean, and they have plenty of activities for the children, but other than that, it is not a good daycare. They say they will help with homework for the after school kids, but they only help the older ones (3rd&4th graders) and with the younger ones, they just tell them to get their homework out and do it. They don't ask if they need help, read anything for them, or check and make sure they are doing it right or even the right thing. They never have enough snacks for the after school children. My son and daughter tell me they give out the snacks at random and if you happen to be the last children to be in line, most of the time they don't even get anything because they ran out of whatever the snack is, which is usually just saltine crackers. The absolute worst thing about this place, is the children who attended this daycare that have a parent working there. Every single day we pick our kids up, they have something bad to say about our son and how he was acting up or being bad. Our son and daughter tells us that 2 particular boys pick on our son every single day and when he gets mad, he gets in trouble. The 2 boys who pick on him have mothers that work there. Our son told us he tells the teacher every day when they pick on him, and nothing is done about it. Today was the last straw because the teacher, once again, told my husband that our son was bad, and my son and daughter said 1 of the boys, the worst ome, was picking on our daughter this time, knocking her off her bike over and over, until my son told him to stop and the boy shaped him in the face so our son pushed him. Instead of getting on to both boys, they only ever get on to our son and the others that are picked on and do something about it. We have told this boys mother multiple times, and still, nothing is done about it. I do not recommend this daycare until they can get a handle on all this. It is ridiculous and we are getting sick and tired of it! If someone is constantly being picked on and made fun of, that someone will eventually snap and do something about it, and I don't blame them. My son's school NEVER has anything negative to say about him, and neither did our previous babysitter. I do not believe my son is the problem at all. It is the kids who always get away with whatever they want because their mothers work there. My son told me the boy who picks on him the most, even told him that he can do whatever he wants because his mom works there. These boys are only 7 years old, and my daughter is only 4. For our son to stick up for his little sister is a good thing, and he should not be punished for that, but they did. If they do not take care of this problem, the state will know about everything! We are not the only parents going through this either. We have talked to multiple parents with the same problem, but because the woman of the son who acts out the most is one of the managers, nothing has been done...
