About the Provider
Carver Early Learning Center was founded in the early 1940's by Mrs. Permilla Woods in a small grocery store. As the center grew, it moved several times until a permanent home was built at its current location in the Chatman Hill neighborhood. Carver ELC is licensed for 82 children, ages birth through school age. Carver has five classrooms and two playground areas for the enrolled children to use.
