Description: Every day presents children with new opportunities to learn. The activities at the A-Bar-Z Ponderosa School are designed to help children learn about the world around them. We place a strong emphasis on early education programs to make children feel special and acquire a strong, positive self esteem. They will learn to develop increased awareness skills and muscular coordination, social skills, problem solving, creative expression, and form good health and safety habits. We make a special effort to prepare children for school by making sure they aquire the essential language and basic skills needed to succeed and excel when their school years begin.

Mari C-my grandson has been at this daycare on Burney Drive for about 3 years. The staff (office, kitchen, teachers) know him by name and we are greeted at the door when we get there and when we pick him up. My grandson looks forward to going to "school" and we drive 80 miles round trip each day even though we live 5 minutes from the one in Annaville. We can't put a price on our grandson's well-being or safety and most of all his happiness. Next year he will be in public school and hope to use A Bar Z as after school care. I personally would like to give a shout out to the following people: Ms. Gloria, Ms. Rachel, Ms. Frances, Ms. Laura, Ms. May, Mr. Mike, Ms. Gabby, Ms. Jaylynn, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Ana, Ms. Amber and Ms. Mary
I have to edit my review. My 3 year old Son attended here for about 6 months. He did like it, I heard no complaints and he rarely cried when I dropped him off. However I had to withdraw him from the program because of the rude manager and lady at the front desk. I am the kind of mom that wants to know what my son is doing and learning there, I ask questions. But apparently that is not welcome over there. I was labeled as rude and told I would complain to much and I would be always welcome to withdraw my son if I am not happy with the daycare! I paid 245 dollars every week and that they talk to me like this?! I immediately took my son out of there. I had been unhappy about a couple of things for a while and that was:
1. Lack of communication between Staff, Teachers and me as parent.
2. educational development (there was no curriculum even if they claim there is)
3. No certified Teachers
4. Unhealthy foods and sugary snacks all the time.
5. No outside activity!
6. Parking the kids in front of the TV!
So I finally had enough. So what, I do ask a lot because I care and I think that is my right as mom. And even if I was rude you are getting paid to watch my son and if you dont do your job right then you have to deal with this.
You are not the only show in town here! Thank godl Dont bring your child here they just care for the money not for the children!
