I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Do to my family's situation I have one child going to another daycare in my school district and they didn't have any more spaces so my younger daughter started going to toybox where there pressured me to move my other children there for a week. Then told me they wouldn't watch my daughter unless I moved my other children to toybox, very rude and inconsiderate!

Under no circumstances would I send children to this establishment. I went in for an interview and was appalled by the whole experience. First off I could hear one teacher yelling continuously before I even approached the front door. When I was let in the kids were all crying. And it was clear the teacher had no experience in dealing with situations like that one. She left the room to get something from another room. And when she did that one of the children locked the door behind her and the children were left unsupervised for about 5 minutes until she was able to shimmy the lock open. During the actual interview I spoke with the owners. An older couple probably in the 60s to 70s. Mr. and Mrs. Cross. Mrs. Cross seemed to be a nice woman. But it was still obvious that she just couldn’t handle as many kids as the daycare had. But Mr. Cross was unprofessional, rude, and a bitter man. He first asked me if I was a married woman. Which considering the huge age difference made me very uncomfortable. He then had the audacity to ask me whether I preferred white or black men. This shocked me. I was speechless. After I didn’t answer the question Mr. Cross explained that he doesn’t believe in interracial relationships. And if a white girl likes a black man, it means she has mental issues. I had no intention of taking this job. But I somehow wanted to get my story out there. I would strongly consider any other daycare before sendin your children to this establishment.
