I have used this provider for more than 6 months

This place is an amazing place........... My children have been attending this center since 2017 and I have seen staff come and go more since COVID than ever before. This seems to be a trend in all industries even in my work place. One thing can be said about the staff at this center is they truly love the kids. I have wittnessed for myself the structure and love they give to the families and children. My children will attend public school next year and they are already reading and adding simple numbers and can spell and write their names. There are so many good things about the staff and how the children learn something everyday.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

NOTE: These are just a few specific examples of my experience with this day care. It is in no way a personal attack on any one person. I would also like to note that my experience with this establishment ended around June 2018 after using them for 3-4 months.

I took my children here as our first time day care as "drop-offs" (the term they use for the kids who aren't there on a normal schedule--my husband was working random hours so we didn't need childcare the same times every day). I had only ever used personal in-home care. I thought it might be simpler to take them to a day care center where I knew what kind of food would be prepared, what kind of activities they would be doing throughout the day, etc. I must say, my expectations were way too high. My children started there and stayed sick, week after week. I was told a week after that started that pink-eye had been going around really bad. I wish they had told me that before they started attending, because by then, it was too late. Every time I was there, the air smelled like bleach fumes. I like cleanliness, but that was a level of fumes where I worried about the safety of my children. After a short time there, my 9 month old came home with a bleeding diaper rash. I can assure you, there was no rash when I took her in. I will not directly blame the daycare as they did to me, because I know how diaper rashes can come on quickly, but I know for a fact it wasn't there the morning I dropped her off. I hurts me to think about. Eventually, the owner started demanding that I turn in a set schedule for full time care, to which I replied that I couldn't because the schedule was always changing. I did the best I could to let her know a couple of days in advance. After a few months of being there, to my extreme bewilderment, I got a knock on my door one day, from a CPS worker (YES, I SAID CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES!!), who said there had been a complaint by the daycare that my children were not attending day care on a regular schedule and that my little one had a bleeding diaper rash (along with some other stupid complaints like the kids' clothes didn't always match, etc). I could not believe my ears. I am posting this to warn other parents out there of the deceitful and false claims this person (the day care owner) makes. I reported the day care to the state and am also looking into filing a claim against them for false reporting to cps. With the first visit from them, they informed me that the case was being dismissed as "claims are unsubstantiated". Do not trust this establishment. The person who caused all of this is greedy and deceitful. I fully believe that if I had been taking my children there full time every day and paying for the higher rate, that none of this would have happened.

The first day my children attended this place, my 2 year old son came home with a busted lip and my 9 month old daughter came home with a scratch from the top of the forehead, across the eye, and down the cheek. No one even acknowledged these things happened or gave me any explanation.

I carried my 9 month old daughter in one morning and she was still asleep from the car-ride. The day care worker told me I could lay her in a particular baby crib and she pointed at it. After she pulled out the balls, toys, and covers from inside, I laid my child down and as soon as she touched the mattress, the crib fell over because it only had THREE legs. That is simply unacceptable.

I am not sure how sterile the animal cages they have are. I do, however, believe that the box turtle they are keeping as a pet is illegal according to KY Dept. of Fish and Wildlife regulations if they do not have a permit. This is not so much of an imminent danger to my children, but these sort of wild-caught animals can carry biological diseases and parasites, which is a large reason why it is illegal to have them as pets.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My child has been attending since she was a little before 18 months old and is almost 4. She has always from an early age loved being engaged in learning/play activities and not until recently into TV. She gets to play and learn at the center and gets excited to go back if we have been on vacation. I love that my child is being challenged intellectually as well as have time to play and be a kid with others. Very accomanadating facility and staff especially on our occasional bad days, they give her a few minutes of extra excouragement upon arriving. Kids will be kids and she has been hit or pinched a time or two by another child or toy but it has been dealt with in a proper, appropriate manner and have been informed. I greatly appreciate that. However, I'm that on top of it parent so I also am actively involved and ask questions if I feel the need. My second child will be attending very soon at 3 months and I feel very comfortable with the staff and already know who will be caring for him.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

The staff is amazing with my grandchildren. They have been enrolled in this facility since they have opened their doors. They help my grandchildren in areas they need help with. They help me prepare my boys by getting them used to a school setting. My boys have been taught many things at this center. The teachers take the time to help each child. They do many arts and crafts. They welcome parents with open arms making us feel like were part of their growing family. My boys are always excited to go to the center they love their teachers. My boys have never had a incident at this center. They always come home happy and I love hearing their stories about what they done that day at the center.

Concerned grand parent Aug 11, 2017

My grandchild used to go this facility and my daughter had to pull him out & switch daycares because they allow kids to bite other kids. We were never told about the incident, found evidence on his arm & when questioned "Karen" said he needs to learn to fight back!! He's 18 months old!! This place needs to reevaluate their protocol on kids safety and allowing harmful behavior!!
