Description: Here at Young Professors Child Development Center, we seek to provide a happy and cheerful environment where children can be at ease about being away from home. At our center, children can interact with their surroundings, and build confidence in a constructive and safe learning environment. We believe that all children should be taught a basic, fundamental Christian foundation. Our center promotes ongoing, progressive, physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth. We believe that each child is a unique and special person, endowed with an individual dignity, which should be nurtured and developed as one with the body and the mind. The support of a caring and intimate community allows your children to develop self-confidence. By recognizing different temperaments and learning styles, by challenging and encouraging, and by working as a team, our staff will help the children to develop their identity.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

This is the absolute worse daycare/preschool you could imagine! My 3 yr old attended there and was physically abused by their prek teacher ms Carmella! My little one came home from their with fingerprint bruising and scratch marks on her arm! Please do not take your child here as they claim to be “Christian’s” but do not care about the children at all! There’s an on going police investigation on them for this as well!
One of the best child care centers I have been in for along time. Staff are great!! My children love them!! Thank you all for everything you do!! Awesome place!!
I have been with Young Professors since my child was a baby who is now in school. Love the staff. They are awesome. Whenever i have had any concerns I was able to either talk to my child's teacher or I would speak to Ms. Paula in the office. Thank you all for everything you do!! You are all amazing!!
Staff consist of family to include teenagers. My child has come home complaining that he has witnessed these teenagers holding down another young child and spraying him in the face with a water bottle. The stories he tells are starting to become concerning. He says the teenagers are constantly yelling at the younger children and being mean. Today he told us that one of the teachers (sister-in-law) was in "a shot contest and threw up after she won". If these are the types of discussions they are having in front of children I have to wonder if this is the right place for any child.
I worked there back in 2011. While I was there, there were several teachers who had anger issues. There was one teacher who could not handle the 3 year old class. They were out of control and she was way too overwhelmed. Some of the teachers there did not have their qualifications and had never been in this capacity before. There was a child in the 2 year class that they locked in a high chair seat every time she was bad. One of the teachers called the children stupid when they weren't listening. I believe that most of the teachers meant well, however, I hope they have done a lot of changing.
My son has gone here for almost 3 years and I have never been concerned with the care he has recived. The staff is always pleasant. My child is always excited to come to daycare and see not only his friends but his teacher as well. I love the fact that all the teachers know him and hug and talk to him everyday I feel that all the teachers love him like he was family.I would highly recomend this daycare.
After only attending for one month my child came home and told me he was made to "nap" in the kitchen for wanting to lay down with a toy car! Mind you my child is old enough to not need a nap and I understood that the kids are still asked to lay down and rest, but in the kitchen what if he had gotten hurt! I am sad to say that the reviews about the owners are correct as well for being self proclaimed "Christians" they care so little about the kids they care after. My son was also sick twice while there and now after seeing the the review about the mold that is there that they wanted to just "paint over" I question if this is not the reason why my son was ill. Needless to say we have since found a new (much better) daycare provider since.
My company did a strip and wax at this location, after praising us on how good the floors looked, they said that they were not going to pay because they said they don't have enough money coming in to pay there bills as it is. The husband of the owner is a pastor and knows in God's eye that if you receive goods or services known that your not going to pay, that is stealing. We also found mold at this location, we offered to treat the mold, but they said that they would just paint over it. Painting over it doesn't kill the mold, and the kind they had will make a child sick
