Description: Programs lie at the very heart of how a YMCA achieves it's mission. YMCAs are well known for the wide variety of program offerings they lay out before the community. At the Kokomo Family YMCA, we are no different. We present to our community a very rich variety of different options. While it is very difficult to be "everything to everybody" --- we do hope to provide something in the way of our programs for the great majority of Kokomo , Howard County , and surrounding areas.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

The only bright spot about this place are the very select few instructors who were decent. Other staff members, including those in charge, are horribly rude, judgmental, and biased. They will verbally thrash a parent behind their back based on their physical appearance within earshot of that parents child. Because they are immature and behave like high school mean girls, they will take their unwarranted dislike for a parent out on their child. The things my child still remembers and tells me to this day are just heartbreaking and I wish that I never sent my child here. I was extremely disliked by the staff when I made every effort to be polite and they took their dislike for me out on my child! Whenever I confronted them about specific incidents, what any concerned parent would do, I was met with accusatory, ridiculous remarks, lies and feeble excuses and naturally my child shouldered most of the blame which still upsets her! Some of the staff have no business caring for children and are in need of an in depth course in professional behavior. Oh and one more thing in case childcare providers have forgotten, children talk when they get home and I will believe my child over a hateful, spiteful adult any day.
I would NOT recommend this child care facility to anyone. If any other daycare was available within my child's school district, I would have fired them ages ago. The staff is RUDE & unhelpful. They do not seem to care about how they treat people at all. They are unreliable. Every year we have to wait to see if they are going to continue after care for our children. Staff turn over & reliability is ridiculous at best. The 'teachers' on site are relatively 'okay', but the building staff is horrible. You have to watch how much they charge you each week as they will attempt not to give you credits due, but are quick to attempt to swindle money whenever they feel they can.
