Yin Yang Academy

We believe that self-esteem is critical component to optimal growth in young children. In order for a child to develope high self-esteem, we focus on developing the socialization and self-help skills needed to succeed in other areas of development. Not only are children at Yin Yang Acadmey given the opportunity to explore, experiment, and create, in a safe and nuturing environment, they are exposed to children of different culture and ethnic backgrounds. To enhance learning in our program, we use multicultural, anti-biased curriculum. Yin Yang will provide a stimulating and nurturing environment that focus on opportunity for learning through educational programs, literature and the exploration of play. Through successful experiences, our children will develop positive self-esteem as well as confidence and independence they will need to continue on in school. In addiiton, our teachers are trained in facilitating and expanding the individual child's interest with materials and activities and creating an environment that is appropriate for his/her developmental needs. These factors ensure the growth of each child physically, cognitively, socially, emotionally, and creatively. Involving familes in our program is a top priority. This helps children, parents and our staff make the strong connection between home and center. We are an extension of the family, developing a partnership where sharing support, ideas, and genuine love for children are of the most importance.
