West Windsor Academy at Governors Towne Club

If I was treated as poorly as I was, I can’t imagine how they’re treating children behind closed doors.

The owner Jen is a petty witch. She wouldn’t answer my question, then when I called, she put me in her pocket (thinking she’d hung up on me) and proceeded to say nasty things about us.

Grateful we didn’t send our daughter there. What a bullet dodged.

Our friends even got made fun of for asking about safety precautions.

Avoid.

My children (5 and 3) have been attending West Windsor Academy since March of 2019. We have had an excellent experience from day 1. My kids LOVE going here and have loved every single teacher that they've had. This is our third daycare facility since my youngest was born (he's five now), and it's by far my favorite. The facility is always extremely clean. We also get daily reports for my youngest son and receive fun photos throughout the day. They even provide healthy meals for both children (which have turned my picky eaters into not-so-picky eaters). I can tell a huge difference in both of my kids' education levels since starting with West Windsor. The prices are great compared to some of the other facilities in the area. I highly recommend West Windsor Academy.

IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN OF COLOR, DO NOT PLACE THEM IN THE CARE OF THIS FACILITY. IT ACTUALLY SADDENS ME TO RIGHT THIS REVIEW BECAUSE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, I ACTUALLY LOVED THIS PLACE FOR BOTH OF MY DAUGHTERS (4 MONTHS AND 10 YEARS OLD) UNTIL MY DAUGHTER STARTED BEING MADE FUN OF BY BOTH OF THE OWNER’S DAUGHTERS FOR BEING BLACK. 1 CALLED MY DAUGHTER “HER SLAVE” AND THE OTHER REPEATED TEASED MY DAUGHTER ABOUT HER HAIR. MY DAUGHTER WAS AFRAID FOR A WHILE TO COME TO ME BECAUSE SHE FELT THAT THE GIRLS WOULD BE PROTECTED BY THE CENTER AND THE OTHER KIDS WOULDN'T LIKE HER ANYMORE DUE TO HER “TELLING” ON THEM. TO MAKE MATTERS WORST, MY CHILD WAS ISOLATED FROM THE REST OF THE KIDS AFTER SHE INFORMED ME AND I BROUGHT IT UP TO THE OWNER. THE TEACHER WHO SEPARATED HER FROM THE KIDS MENTIONED “I’VE GOTTA KEEP AN EYE ON YOU” INSTEAD OF REPRIMANDING THE OWNER’S DAUGHTERS. WHAT DID THE OWNER HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS? FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK....SHE DEFENDED HER DAUGHTER WHO CALLED MY CHILD “HER SLAVE” AND SAID THAT SHE WAS INFLUENCED BY SOMEONE ELSE. SHE NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR MY DAUGHTER BEING TARGETED BY EITHER OF HER CHILDREN BECAUSE OF HER RACE AND SHE NEVER ASKED HOW MY DAUGHTER FELT (WHICH OF COURSE, SHE WAS DISTRAUGHT). SHE NEVER EVEN MADE AN ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE WITH ME. I HAVE DECIDED TO PULL BOTH OF MY GIRLS FROM THIS FACILITY AND TAKE OUR SLAVE DOLLARS SOMEWHERE ELSE. IT’S HEARTBREAKING TO THINK THAT I TRUSTED THIS LADY ENOUGH TO LEAVE MY 2 DAUGHTERS AT HER CENTER SINCE LAST YEAR AND THIS IS WHATS BEEN GOING ON. I HAD TO EXPLAIN RACISM TO MY DAUGHTER AND TELL HER THAT IT IS NEVER OK.
