I think a lot of parents are awed by the nice new building, the beautifully painted classrooms, the playgrounds & the equipment in the gym. Indeed these are eye catching but do not necessarily guarantee a good curriculum. My 3 year old needed a change, so as a family we switched to the Morgan School. I appreciate their philosophy, however, there aren’t many art projects, the only time they listen to music is nap time & the lead teacher is always at her desk watching the kids play instead of playing with them. There was an assistant teacher who was great & actually played with the kids, my child spoke very fondly of her - then suddenly she was gone. The only thing anyone would tell me was that she wasn’t there anymore & she didn’t quit. One thing I don’t care for is the way teachers get the kids attention: they say “Class class!” & all the kids say “yes yes!” Great idea for older kids, but too formal for 3 year olds.
