Description: Mount Olive Day Care Programs are composed of one infant program, three toddler programs, three pre-school programs, two all day kindergarten programs, and two summer programs. We are a federally funded, non-profit organization in operation since 1970 and governed by the State Department of Social Services. We are under the direction of the Mount Olive Child Development Center, Incorporated. The purpose of the program is to provide comprehensive, high-quality day care to children and their families. Most of our centers are nationally accredited or are in the process of becoming accredited.
The program is based on the philosophy that children are unique individuals. We recognize the fact that each child in our program has distinct likes, and dislikes; each has different family and cultural backgrounds, as well as distinct patterns and capabilities. Our primary concern is that we meet the child at his/her developmental level. In keeping with this, our goal is to lay a strong foundation for the future of each child by striving to meet the social, emotional, physical, cognitive and creative needs. We endeavor to meet those needs by creating an atmosphere of love, foundation for the future of each child by striving to meet the social, emotional, physical, cognitive and to meet the social, emotional, physical, cognitive and creative needs. We endeavor to meet those needs by creating an atmosphere of love, understanding, trust, caring with positive experiences and role models through supportive and caring adults.

When COVID hit it changed a lot of things. Unfortunately parents are not able to enter the classroom to explore what their children are learning. Mt. Olive seems to have the nurturing aspect down pack, but when it comes to the tuition be mindful and stay on top of it. The center would thrive with more consistency of staff and professionalism.
