Description: Incorporated in 1974, the Walpole Village School is a non-profit educational institution offering preschool, pre-kindergarten, and before and after-school care for children aged 2 – 12. It’s child-centered program strives to achieve a balance between offering new experiences and incorporating students’ interests and abilities.
Early childhood experiences lay the foundation for future educational, social, and emotional success. A positive early childhood education provides children with an open outlook on future experiences. Through cooperative play, small and large group activities, and hands on experiences children build confidence and a sense of self in a school setting.
At the Walpole Village School we provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and socialize. We provide guidance to allow children to make kind, respectful choices in their school community. Children are challenged to explore the classroom space through a variety of age appropriate themed activities. We encourage our children and families to work cooperative with each other, the school, the community, and the environment to have a positive impact in the world.
The goal of the Walpole Village School is to meet the needs of the community by offering preschool and pre-kindergarten classes, as well as early morning care and an aftercare program for school age children. Working with the community to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children to grow and thrive is of great importance to us. At the Walpole Village School we aim to maintain a strong sense of community by continuing to be a fixture in the Village of Walpole.
Our students have 4 acres to explore: a play ground with a nature space, sand box, swing sets, greenhouses and plenty of room to run. One of our greenhouses provides an indoor play space for rainy days and a second greenhouse is where our students explore nature by growing their own food in our school garden. We grow crops year round. Students enjoy time in the greenhouses each week, all year long. It is another way the Walpole Village School is building a solid healthy foundation for our students successful future adventures in life.

I love this school and am so glad I found it! My daughter as well loves it and her teacher Allie! There is great interaction between the kids and teachers, lots of projects, activities, and my daughter learns ALOT. A great schedual for the kids as well. I love that they have a HUGE green room for the kids to play in on bad days outside so they still get "outside time" I recomend anyone with children in the age group to bring their kids there I will be bummed and so wont my daughter when she is to old to go..
