Not sure who miss Jen is but during Covid/summer 2021 Walnut Grove was amazing, even with all the mask crazyness. Miss Stephanie was helpful, kind, and great with the kids. They would hug her goodbye. My 3 and 5 year old had a blast during the summer. Can’t say enough good things!
There is a huge turnover in staff, I've also heard/seen parents pull their children due to the dislike of certain teachers and the Management didn't do anything about it. The Management is a huge problem as are the owners. They obviously don't care for the well being or safety of their employees. You can tell the employees are unhappy but not in the position to be without a job. Have heard similar things of the other locations as well. Would never send my child here and never recommend anyone to seek employment here.
don't think this deserves even one star. The owner, Ms. Jenn, presents to be a caring individual. On 6/28/13 Ms. Jenn had a director meet me at the door (my entrance code was deleted) & hand me a trash bag with my child's name, some belongings inside & informed me that the day prior was my child's last day. I was stunned. I hadn't had any problems with the service or staff. In fact, my child was bit earlier in the week & I was very understanding. I was told that there was no further information & that I could contact Ms. Jen on Monday because she was out of town. I sent emails & left telephone messages. Ms. Jen did not respond. I received an email from a regional director stating that my actions over not wanting to participate in $1, weekly ice cream, for my 15 month old child, were rude. I treated the staff like family. They were the only caregivers my child had known since 6 weeks old. I am still having a difficult time understanding what happened. Please be warned that things are not always what they appear. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY OF WALNUT GROVE CHILD CARE CENTERS TO ANYONE.
