I was an employee here and also my son attended for a year and a half. My son was the victim of the directors daughters physical abuse and emotional abuse. She slammed him against a wooden changing table and left handprint bruises on his back. She was charged with endangering the welfare of a child but got it dismissed because her husband is a state trooper and her family is a pillar of the community. If you were scheduled to be out at 5pm and no coverage you could not leave. Staff was over worked and under paid. We did not have much materials to work with. Lesson plans were re-used every year, and not very good ones. The director lets family attend for free. She is always with her grandkids or her kids running the classrooms who are not even qualified to run it. For those who are qualified if the director is having a bad day stay out of her way or she will belittle you at all costs or yell at you. There was still staff making below minimum wage when i worked there over a year ago.
She is old school and has all paper files. As teachers we have bought our own supplies and decorations and i was not able to take them with me when i left bc people accused me of “stealing.”
