I have used this provider for less than 6 months

Where do I start…
Well, 2 stars is gracious for sure. I was extremely nervous to send my kid here. However, the director did her best to ensure my 2year old was comfortable for the first month. Unfortunately,
I did notice the following month that I had to pick my son up every week because they said he had a fever and runny nose. This meant that he basically had to be off 2 days every week. I eventually called their bluff by asking his afternoon teachers if they noticed if he was sick on a day that his morning teachers insisted that he was sick and needed to be picked up immediately. His afternoon teachers and the assistant director said he was good to come in the following day and he was not sick.
All was well until one day during drop off, I noticed one child being secluded by the teachers. I watch her cry in the middle of the classroom, after the teacher stated she “ didn’t want to deal with her today.” I thought I did the right thing by informing the director over the phone once I got to work of the situation . I did not expect the response I received. The director stated the 4 year old was a liar and the teachers did not know how to deal with her. Right then I knew I needed a plan of action to remove my son from the center. I noticed some parents said they were singled out because they used Government assistance. We paid out-of-pocket for our care. We even paid a month, sometimes 2weeks ahead of time. however, once this incident occurred, I stopped paying weeks ahead of time and just paid weekly. Two days after reporting this event to the Director, my son teacher informed me that my son was having behavior issues and threatening a behavior report. If you get three behavior reports, your kid will be expelled from the school. Behavior had never been an issue until I reported what I seen. A week later, my son received his first behavior report. The day that he received the behavior report was his last day attending daycare. His last week was horrendous. I noticed he started having an eczema outbreak. I noticed that the classrooms were extremely hot when I came to pick them up. He even told me upon pick up that he was hot. He cried and gave me a hard time during drop off. It was tough everyday I had to drop him off. Some of the teachers definitely did not look like they like their job. I felt relief when this final last day occurred where I did not have to drop him off there anymore. Not because he got kicked out but simply because I just had enough. Parents stick with your first mind. If something saying to you this is not the best place, then more than likely it’s not a good place . Not to mention all the grammar errors in the contract was a bit telling.

edit: After posting my review a few interesting things came up about the daycare on social services. I changed my rating to 1 star Check out the link https://www.dss.virginia.gov/printer/facility/search/cc.cgi?rm=Details;ID=41547;search_keywords_name=tl
