Description: Tree Top Child Care Center & Preschool promotes physical activities in large open areas and a wide variety of educational games. It is worthwhile to include play in the curriculum not only because each standard can be met through play but because play makes learning authentic and valid to children. To fully incorporate a curriculum that promotes play, it is necessary to make daily observations through documentation, photographs, and video. These anecdotes can be put into a child’s portfolio to prove that learning is taking place through play. Goals are then created for individuals and children as a group to determine curriculum planning and scaffolding tools are used to help children move along in their development.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
