Description: Tomorrows Child started as a home based child care center in 1985. We added the children’s ministry in 1995, and began using the Abeka Christian based curriculum. We are large enough to provide all of the services of a large center, but small enough for individualized care for each and every child. The facility is family owned, and the owner is on site and working to ensure quality care to your child.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

My granddaughter had been attending Tomorrows Child with Ms. Mary and her team since August 2019 when she was about 18 months. She is now 4 and the amazing things she can do and has learned because of the work Mary has put in is mind blowing. Potty training? I really had not put much effort into it but decided that, the day she turned 3 it would become a top priority for me. The day before she turned 3, she was completely potty trained and it all happened because of this daycare. No child is a finickier eater than my granddaughter but, because of Mary, she eats fish sticks, BBQ sandwiches, BROCCOLI! It's unbelievable. And, my granddaughter will read before she starts kindergarten next year. It could not have been accomplished without the efforts Mary and the girls have put in. They are amazing, Tomorrows Child is amazing, and the kids who have a chance to attend are amazing. I cannot recommend it enough!
We love Tomorrow's Child. Mary has provided childcare for my 2 children for the past 5 years, and we cannot say enough good things about it! She cares for each child like it was her own family. The children are taught in a faith based and loving environment. It is a great thing to have confidence and feel safe in your child's day care provider. Highly recommended to anyone looking for childcare.
My child no longer attends and I found later about the spanking. Lack of supervision for the kids, regularly understaffed AND she brings her dogs in to the daycare which is not safe with so many children. I like dogs but come on-so stupid.
Not professional, get ready to get sucked in to the drama.
The problems started about a year ago; first off, the school states they open at 0630. Countless times I would arrive at 0630 and nobody would show up until 0640. It got to be such an issue that the co-owner, Jim, said I could dock tuition payment based on how many minutes Mary (co-owner,director,and Jim's wife) was late. Mary asked that I let her know when we'd be there "early". I did give her a heads up when I knew we'd be there for opening but 0630 is when they are supposed to open, it's not early. Secondly, my 3yo would come home without a lot of school work but have a vast knowledge of movies (Alvin, Spongebob, super heroes). Mary stated they were prepping for the Holiday program in December and also they were short staffed. One teacher was fired in the early fall of 2015 and another quit in Jan 2016. Neither has been permanently replaced. One woman was watching all the babies, one's and two's upstairs while Mary and another teacher were downstairs with the 3's & 4's. After the high schools let out a couple girls would come give some relief. Lastly, Mary spanks the children. A year ago my daughter (2yo at the time) wouldn't sit down during mealtime and was spanked. Another teacher witnessed the incident, quit her job, and called CPS to file a complaint. After that Mary knew we did not approve of spanking. Yet, on 1/20/16 my daughter was spanked again. This time for not being still/quiet at nap time. Mary texted me stating I was overreacting. She stated she gave my daughter a “thump on the behind” and Mary was upset that I didn’t talk to her before assuming she spanked my child. Three people told me she was spanked, there was no need to assume anything. Mary knew she didn't nap anymore and agreed to give her books in a separate corner of the room. That was the final straw. I pulled my daughter out of the "school" and found a better, safer place
I have been taking my two daughters there since they were 8 weeks old. 7 years later we still love it!
Mary and Jim are so great! I needed a place for my 4 yr old when I had to spend 6 mos in Indianapolis for grad school. I was not happy with the daycare centers I'd toured when a friend suggested Tomorrow's Child. Absolutely wonderful place for my daughter. She learned a ton and it is a very caring atmosphere. Means so much to be at work and not have to worry about my child, knowing she was in good hands! Would recommend to anyone.
With Mary and Jim ( and their team ) you have not just a great daycare but a partner in helping you raise your kids. Mary is strict but upfront and honest and expects nothing you the best from her team. She will tell you what's going on, keeping you on the loop, trying to get your input , and is in constant communication with you . She will work with you, no concern of mine has ever been not addressed ( let's be honest nothing is perfect, even If I would do it myself ). Give Mary and Jim a call and check them out - you will not regret it !
We have had two children at Tomorrow's Child and find it academically and creatively equal to the larger more expensive center we had our oldest in. What we get here, however, is a warmer, homier and faith-based environment. Knowing my children are lovingly cared for and learning at an amazing rate makes us feel better about not having them at home. It's been a blessing!
We transferred our child to Tomorrow's Child from a large daycare facility that we were having countless issues & concerns with. This was the BEST decision we have made for our family. The staf is very caring and most importantly constant (not an ever changing amount of teachers). Having the same daycare teacher daily for our children was/is very important to us. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone, especially families seeking part-time daycare like we were.
Not a great daycare. When I confronted them on their punishment practices they got very defensive and called me a liar, instead of taking the issue head on. Also not impressed with their school prep. Too much focus on supernatural things, not enough focus on math and science.
