I reviewed with all staff the staff to child ratio and expressed that if we will be out of ratio the parents need to stay until additional staff arrives. We will continue to use the staff to child ratio forms to track children and staff each half hour. I have hired a returning staff member ( just moved back ) and she will be subbing for us as needed.
