Description: The Kinder Garden is an Early Learning/Child Care Center with locations on Kent Island in Stevensville, Maryland and Easton, MD. The Kinder Garden has the newest, most modern state of the art buildings & playgrounds, designed specifically for childcare. We also offer the best weekly rates in the area. The environments are designed to provide the safest place for your children. With this in mind, we offer at both sites, an electronic parent access system. We provide excellent care for infants to children 5 years of age, and take great pride in our staff(s). A full day pre-school program is provided with full-time and part-time options. Openings are currently available in all age groups.
The vision of the owners, Dennis and Jan Duley of Royal Oak, Maryland, is to provide the highest quality staff and facility to service young children and their families on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. To this end, they have invested their construction and artistic talents, business expertise, and commitment to children, families, and the community.
The Easton Centers' director, Mary Ann Page of St. Michaels & Tilghman, Maryland, has 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. As a managing teacher, director and curriculum specialist, she has spent her career developing the potential of the children in her care; as well as modeling for and mentoring colleagues in new strategies, techniques and ideas to enhance the educational experience of their students.
The staff are highly qualified Early Childhood professionals. They are all prepared to create a 'one-of-a-kind' learning experience for the next generation.
The MSDE approved Creative Curriculum guides the teachers at the Kinder Garden to facilitate a distinctive educational experience for their students. Self-esteem, problem-solving, competency, independence, science (discovery, exploration, prediction & verification, etc.), math concepts, language arts, literacy, creative arts and physical development, are all components of the learning program. Parent participation is welcomed and encouraged. Special Events are incorporated into the year's activities to accommodate family participation.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
