This school is filthy. The floors are so grimy you can see the actual dirt on the tiles, including in the infant and toddler rooms where babies are crawling on the floors all day long. My wife and I attempted to bring this to the attention of the school owner, Alisa, on more than one occasion. Not only could we see the visible dirt on the floors, but our young child was constantly sick while attending this school. I’m talking hospitalized sick on two occasions on top of near constant fevers and viruses . Despite all of this, Alisa repeatedly assured us that the school is clean and safe and is thoroughly disinfected by a professional cleaning crew every evening. However, come to find out, the school was inspected by the New Jersey office of licensing in late October 2022 and was cited with several violations for “unsanitary conditions”. The exact words on the report — which is public knowledge on the web — state that “The center violated state licensing requirements due to unsanitary conditions. The center is dirty, particularly the floors.” Additionally, much to our shock and dismay the school was also cited in that same report for further violations including mold in the baby room and in the ventilation in the connected classroom ( the toddler room). It goes on to state that center administration, meaning Alisa, knew about these issues and did not address them. The audacity of this woman to sit in front of two parents and boldly and blatantly lie to us about the condition of her school, knowing full well that she had recently been cited by the state for these disgusting violations. All it takes is a quick Google search to find this information. Did she really expect no one would ever find out?? Oh and to add insult to injury, they were also cited for further violations for not conducting regular mandated safety drills or practicing an emergency preparedness plan with their staff. Seriously? In this day and age you’re going to neglect SAFETY DRILLS at a school??? If nothing else, this distressing and disheartening experience taught my wife and I a very hard and valuable lesson on trusting our gut instincts. We knew something was very wrong at this school and suspected Alisa wasn’t being honest and forthcoming with us. We are grateful to the office of licensing for confirming our suspicions, We are hoping to help any prospective parent who might be interested in the school and reading this review with this hard earned insight.
