I have used this provider for more than 6 months

Community Nurtury is a beautiful, clean, child-centered environment. The staff are keen observers--constantly aware of the developmental needs of children, and create such an environment, with developmentally appropriate materials and spaces, empowering and helping each child become independent; as appropriate. Staff speaks respectfully to children--and treat them with dignity. Staff are attentive to effective parent communication--problem solving and sharing helpful tips/ideas for the home. Both of my children have/are a part of this beautiful community.

About the Provider

Our Infant/Toddler program supports the healthy development of young children in a peaceful and secure environment. We promote confidence, curiosity, awareness, exploration, problem solving, and friendship building for infants and toddlers. We believe in relationship‐based care and the importance of the bond between a primary caregiver and the child. Through this relationship, the child develops trust in himself and others, as well as the security to learn about his environment while gaining self confidence and independence. We are inspired by Magda Gerber’s Educaring ® approach. We believe in meeting children where they are in their developmental needs, constantly observing to determine their needs, and providing the support necessary to succeed on their own. We believe that skilled and thoughtful care‐giving both nurtures children and gives them the kind of information they need to organize their world. This philosophy fosters independence in infants and toddlers by providing an atmosphere that promotes motor and cognitive development while establishing trusting relationships.
