Description: We believe the preschool years provide the foundation for social and academic success. Young children are naturally motivated to learn. They are enthusiastic about grasping new information and proud of demonstrating new skills. Young children have a natural capacity to play and imagine, wonder and explore, make new friends, and enjoy new experiences. Sunshine Children's Learning Center cherishes and supports the unique qualities and capabilities of the children. We provide opportunities for exploration and discovery, cooperative learning and creative expression. We respect individual differences and recognize that all children develop at their own pace and in accordance with their own style. We provide each child with choices, challenges, and opportunities that nurture feelings of competence and promote intellectual growth.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

I loved working with the children at this daycare. Absolutely loved and adored the children. However, after working here for 3 months I've seen more than what I needed to see with the employees here. The children came out to me and told me they've been hurt my a specific teacher and with knowing how rough i've seen her to be with the kids with my own eyes i brought it up to the director and the owner respectfully and they sat and laughed in my face and told me i coached the children to say it and that that's not true. Any caring owner and director of a daycare shouldn't take that sort of thing lightly snd at least give it thought and look into things. Teachers here are very verbally degrading to the kids. Ive read reviews on this daycare recently where parents complained their kids have come home with bruises from teachers pinching them. Teachers here curse using the f word on a daily baiss without caring if children are around. This is the most unprofessional daycare i have ever seen in my entire life. These teachers have gotten away with acting like this for so lon cuz nobody speaks out and if someone like me does speak out im reprimanded and taken as a joke. It sucks cuz i love working with children and adore every single child here like their my own so its nobody's loss but their own for loosing people who genuinely care and want nothing but the best for the students. If anyone has any questions just email me at tatibbyy1215@gmail.com , this has been happening and gotten away with for far too long and there needs to be stop to it.
My son is attending VPK at this facility. I can say it has been night and day from previous daycare experiences. He is actually learning and loves to go to school. The teacher is very kind and encourage the children to be independent. The director is always available to answer my questions and is very sympathetic.
My Son started 8 months ago and he has learn so much. The teachers always greet him with a smile and he can't wait to school the next day. i recomend this Daycare above all. Clean and friendly.
My Daughter has attended this Preschool since she was 1 year old. It is the best one in the area, very clean and professional. You can tell the teachers are there because they love what they do. When my daughter started School she was ready. I am very happy with this school and totally disagree with anonymous.
This center is under staffed, so children are unable to focus on learning. There is clutter everywhere. The bathroom in the children's area where parents don't usually walk always smell strongly like urine. The employee Anna, who works there in the afternoons with the after schoolers makes it very clear she is unhappy with her position and is rude and always yelling at the children. She also makes comments in front of the staff and children when she assumes parents aren't around about how she hates working at Sunshine and cant stand the children there and is looking forward to finishing her schooling so that she can quit. That is not acceptable and inappropriate for someone in this line of work where parents are expecting a loving caring environment. This same woman has children sweeping, mopping, sanitizing the the room for her. So my question is, if the kids are doing her job shouldn't they get her paycheck? And when you address concerns to the director-Madeline she will acknowledge you like she cares and ignore you and gossip to the staff and other parents about you when your not around. This center in comparison to other centers near it is like night and day and could use much improvement. The only positive thing that I can say about this place is that there are a few women there who are passionate about what they're doing with the children. But these women are under appreciated by management and the owners there at Sunshine.
Very friendly and loving atmosphere. There is always cleaning and sanitizing going on. My children have learned so much. I would recommend this center to anyone who is seeking care for their child.
