Description:
Baby Steps Nature School is an outdoor/natural science focused program. We use our observations of and experiences in the natural world to help develop our sense of stewardship, self regulation, joy, gross and fine motor skills and most importantly the value of kindess and care for ourselves, our friends and the planet. Baby Steps is a member of the Family Child Care Quality Network and uses bi-anual assessments to help guide curriculum and prepare children for the transition to kintergarden. Working with parents and children to ensure individualized care and academic support is critical to a smooth start on their academic journey.
Patricia Sullivan has a doctorate degree from SF State in education, a masters degree in early childhood education and a bachelors degree in psychology. She has been in the field of early care and education since 1992.
