I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Suga’s Place. My child is shy and sensitive, and takes a while to warm up to people. His teachers have always gone out of their way to ensure he feels included and loved, and now that he’s gone there for well over a year, he prefers daycare to school. It says something when your child asks on the weekend “how many days until I get to see my teachers and friends at Suga’s Place?” There are also cameras with audio throughout the building and key code access only to the building which is very reassuring. Staff complete various certifications and courses to be eligible to work there which is far more than I’ve discovered other centers do with their teachers. Thank you Suga’s Place!!
Nicole the owners calls advocating for your child " complaining/ complicated parent"
There has been different issues she finds an excuse and makes you feel like your an inconvenience.
The only reason I kept my daughter there is due to having a personal relationship with the owners Mother "who had a great bond with my daughter and I trusted 100%"
But Nicole is very unprofessional she thinks she can intemadate you if you bring concerns to her while she rolls her eyes, and a few staff there are that are newer are unbelievable unprofessional, obnoxious, rude and over react instead of being calm while dealing with toddlers.
Nicole has been wanting me to find other care sense I made a state call a monthh in half ago and today she tryed to make some bulls**t excuses saying I was upset they called me due to a " Breathing issue " my daughter had, but the issue wasn't so bad to her staff as they sent her back to class before I made it there to get her( I was there in 15 min). I am.slso the parent that says call me for anything and I will come get my daughter.
I didn't know her staff were Dr.'s to judge if she ok or not after you called me to say she said she " cant breathe and yes she has Asthma but it 100% controlled and they know it".
Once I talked to my daughter she said she was running & " like anyone running around they say I cant breathe as a statement" I am glad they called but if......." the obnoxious teacher that is extremely over board" instead of being calm and seeing whats going on NOPE he went over and started being loud saying " SHE CAN'T BREATHE, " & ended up scaring her & when she got with the other teacher she said she was ok, But I still picked her up.
just irritated that it always happens in this teacher class and that they are not trained to stay calm in situations to figure out if it was just a kid saying something or if its an emergency.
Nicole needs to think of the situation and issue that have been brought to her attention and state attention and make changes.
THEY ALSO SAY THEY OFFER PERSCHOOL. BUT AS I WATCH VIDEOS ON ANOTHER ISSUE A MONTH IN HALF AGO IT WAS CLEAR THERE IS NO LEARNING BEING DONE THERE, KIDS RUN WILD ALL DAY.
Even more ridiculous I just came to her last week and said I was going to be moving my daughter to a PRESCHOOL in a month.
But today because she feels me advocating is complaining. she said I had to find other child care and she thought it be best to stop care asap.

I KNOW IT SUCKS WHEN YOU HAVE A PARENT THAT STANDS UP FOR THERE CHILD & NOT LET THE CRAP YOUR CENTER PULLS GET AWAY WITH IT OR ALLOW YOU TO MAKE US AS PARENTS FEEL AS OUR CONCERNS ARE AN INCONVENIENCE TO YOU- ------but for parents reading this she will do this to you as well of you don't back down and advocat for your child like you should SHE DON'T LIKE TO BE CHALLENGING EVEN WHEN ITS NOT CHALLENGING ITS ADVOCATING FOR YOUR CHILD BEST CARE.
Very concerning conduct by owner and staff. Lack of professionalism and integrity. False daily reports, and no accountability of when children get injured. Somehow explaining that the children were “wrong” in their explanation when bruises or other injuries occur, every time. If I could give it “0” starts, I would! DO NOT GO THERE!
When incidents happen, the owner, director (owner's mom), and manager tend to pass the buck and make excuses, some even contradicting what they explained before. The owner became physically aggressive towards me when she became flustered from me calling her out on her contradicting information. Very concerning conduct and lack of professionalism.
This center seemed to start out with good intentions, but from my observations: the quality teacher's never seem to stay long. My daughter was doing so well with one teacher, and all of a sudden, she was gone-leaving my child bewildered. She was very sad for a long time, and no explanation was given to us. This leaves me to question the dynamics of this place. It doesn't appear to maintain a stable environment for kids.
More focused on money instead of quality child care.
