The My Storybook Learning Centers environment is set up to allow the children to explore their world by using all of their senses, experiencing how things work and providing an opportunity to express their ideas and solve problems independently. I just want to share my great experience at My Storybook. My daughter graduated last June from there and she was in miss Andrea's class. Well, to my surprise she came home the other day with a certificate and a bag of goodies because she was chosen student of the month...on her first month in school!I can't say enough positive things about this center. They are truly a learning center and you do see the results. They've been wonderful to us, but especially to my daughter.And not to mention the awesome education they provide for very reasonable prices.
MY daughter was there close to a year and at the beginning it was ok not good but i say hey no one will take care of your kids like you, but while time passes my daughter starting to come back on the same Monday afternoon with a horrible diaper rash even bleeding that i had to put her on her bathtub for 30 minutes so the pain and irritation will cease next day I will ask them and their response was your daughter is to sensitive to the diaper can you ask your doctor what she would recommend, you know I've give them the benefit of the doubt, and ask my daughter's doctor of course the doctor knows when she sees my daugther and tells me those people in that daycare are lazy they don't change her diaper often so I got back to them with that of course they stick to their story that she's to sensitive, so I keep trying to see how to help my daughter already thinking to take her out of that horrible place that of course is on a basement and there's no air flowing and smells weird or like poop and every time I use to go to pick my daughter they have her and others kids sitting on the high chairs watching tv, sometimes my daughter will come back with bruises on her arms on her belly and I'll ask next they of course they didn't know what was going on the last thing was my daughter got a horrible rash on her belly and arms it was so bad she was bleeding of how much she scratch, i took her to the doctor and she put her on antibiotic and a cream next day I'll go and ask her "teacher" graciela and I didn't even ask what happened i just asked her can you please pay a little more attention to my daughter I know you have more kids but you see her rash she didn't had that the day before, OMG that woman almost hit me she yelled at me I NOT DOING NOTHING TO YOUR DAUGHTER! I DON'T KNOW WHAT H APPEND TO HER, Jesus Christ I wanted to rip her head off, it was a Thursday 10/29/2015 I just walked away Karen (the manager) asked me what was going on I told her and she was like you have to understand this is a very hard job for them and we do what we can I was like OMG I have to take my daughter out of here, I went to work heart broken, so thank God I found a wonderful place and I went did all the paperwork on Friday 10/30/2015 when i pick up my daugther and ask for all her stuff I told her teacher that it was her last day, Karen over heard and she went to me yelling that why? that i wasn't suppose to take her out that she'll never will get the service that she gets there I was you damn right she's not she's going to be very well taking care for now one, Karen keep screaming at me i grab my daughter and walked away, when Karen run after me go outside the daycare and scream at me YOU'LL GOING TO REGRET THIS!! Jesus this was horrible my poor daughter was crying I was about to call the police, another thing for my daughter's birthday Maria (the owner) didn't let my husband to see her during the day to say happy birthday, she told him if you come you have to take her with you my husband just had an hour break from his job and he wanted to see her, he couldn't, yeah they're the cheapest but is not worth it think in your kids, they deserve better, God knows what else happens there also Maria husband is almost always there is such a creep, my daughter was always scare of him, this people don't care about your kids they do nothing but to put the poor kids to watch tv all day long ... DON'T TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE!!!!
I absolutely recommend My Storybook Learning Center. My daughter is receiving the best care ever and with a great curriculum in her toddler years. She is so happy to be there with her friends and enjoying her time away from me. Her day is filled with creativity and crafts and fun things to do. When I pick her up she can't wait to tell me everything she did which puts a smile on my face. Thank you to everyone at My Storybook.
I sent my son there for just a week, but my son got fever and his butt had rashes overall. It took him about 2 months for his rashes to go away. I was so regret and felt sorry to choose this daycare place just because of cheaper price. It is in the damp basement, no air flows inside, and has strange smells. The clothes that the teachers wear look so dirty and disgusting. Very unprofessional owner. Do not recommend to any parents.
my son was in this school from 4 months of age to 9 months an he came with a bumps n bruises. when asked what has happen to my child they try to brush me off. the staff very unproffetional and you never get to speak to the owner never around.. i will not recommended anyone to bring their child there not a good place and since its in a basemant he was always sick with a cold that he even got bronchitis..
