Stepping Stones Childcare offers activities that are age appropriate so children can gain the confidence the that they need to develop and learn. We do not believe in "timeout" but we do believe that some children may need a quiet place under supervision by staff to regroup and think about what they are feeling. A walk or suggesting a different activity are ways to help a child refocus. Our teachers and children will spend as much time as possible incorporating our structured activities outdoors when the weather permits us to. Children will be able to take a nature walk and have lunch on our picnic tables and just get some exercise and fresh air. Our center sits on 2 acres of wooded and grassed area making it a perfect place to appreciate nature.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
