This facility has poor management. The teacher's use any accuse to get out of watching the kids. Call continuously about child having a fever only to get off work and child's temp is normal. The director Ms Bethea is unprofessional and continuously makes accuses for her staff. She becomes very defensive when asked to verify information pertaining to your child. Ms Bethea wants to treat her parents like kids by expecting them to just sit and listen while she does all the talking. She cares more about her image than the kids well being.
I am writing this review based off the experience I have had with the daycare part of Smart kids. My son is 10 months and has only being attending this daycare for 2 months almost 3 and there has been problem after problem first a daycare teacher that tells me the daycare is only for moms that work and go to school too then contacting me about fevers then when I arrive and check my kids temperature myself he has no fever. I just feel as if my child is either not wanted at this daycare or either the teachers just do not want to work. As well they do not follow proper guidelines I know at any other daycare the kids temperatures are token at drop off to ensure the child is ok before the parent departs the kid to protect other kids today I have done 2 hours drive time because of thermometers they have in the daycare that reads different temps and them not following proper guidelines. If I did not have to work to provide for my child And there was not waiting list at other places I would keep my kid home with me or at another daycare. I just feel the daycare part is terrible and not reliable what so ever. If you’re thinking about placing your kid here please rethink or choose a different one then lambeth drive.
