Our preschool provides a socially and academically balanced education in a safe, culturally diverse, and nurturing Christian environment. Our motto is: We teach your child to think.
You may choose from a variety of programs, ranging from morning preschool to full time. Frequency choices include a 2 day, 3 day or 5 day program. We serve 2 nutritious snacks and lunch. Chapel is conducted one morning each week on alternate days.
We have 2 preschool classes and a Pre-Kindergarten. The teacher:child ratio is 1:7 in the 2 year old class, 1:9 in the 3 year old class, and 1:10 in the Pre-K. Children in diapers may enroll in our 2 year old class.
Our preschool uses the HighScope Curriculum which views children as active learners, stimulating discovery, learning and overall development. As the children make their choices and pursue their plans, they explore, ask and answer questions, solve problems, and interact with friends and teachers. Readiness activities teach the basic pre-reading, pre-math, and pre-science skills required for Kindergarten.
Our preschool was established in 1984. We have been accredited by the National Association for the Education for Young Children since 2000.
