Description: Located in the Bronx neighborhood of Westchester Square, Santa Maria School has been educating children since 1951. The school offers rigorous academics and a caring, values-based atmosphere for students in grades Pre-K to 8th.
A small Catholic school with one class per grade at the elementary level, Santa Maria is a tight-knit family. At Santa Maria School, students are held to a high academic and moral standard. The dedicated faculty and staff strive to provide students with a safe and secure environment in which they can thrive.
In 2009 Santa Maria moved its early childhood program to the Sacred Heart Learning Center two blocks from the main school building. The program has grown and thrived now servicing over 200 pre-k students through a government funded full day Universal Pre-K (UPK) program for 4 year olds.
