Description: Santa Cruz Montessori balances classes as much as possible by age and gender. These classes serve children from ages 18 months through 15 years, through grade nine. All programs are structured in 3-year age spans, except for the Young Children's Community, which serves children from 18 months through 3 years. The children typically stay in their class for three years. This mixed age group allows a spirit of community and family to grow. The older children experience the joy of helping the younger ones, thereby crystallizing their own knowledge and paving the way for the younger ones to learn and grow. Children have the freedom to work with others who share their interests and level of ability, regardless of age.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
