Antsy Pants Daycare was the first daycare I ever worked at and I had a very good experience working here! Sandi was always very kind and was constantly finding things to better her daycare and make it a very positive atmosphere not only for the children but for everyone who walked in the door! Including the employees and families of the children.
Not the best daycare I've ever been too. The staff are great and treat the kids very nicely. It's a little small, but it works.
My two boys have attended Antsy Pants since May of 2017. It has been a perfect fit for us. The staff always kindly welcomes the children every morning. They provide plenty of fun activities not only inside but outdoors as well. In the summer months my boys loved going to the park, playing in the sprinklers and my oldest enjoyed the summer reading group at the library. Sandi and her staff also plan special trips to the County Fair and free movies at the local theater. Sandi is one of the kindest persons I've ever met. She reaches out to us parents to see how everything is going and asks if there are any concerns we may have. I'd highly recommend Antys Pants Daycare!!
This daycare not only helps children develop their skills for school such as English and reading, but teaches KINDNESS, Creativity, and promotes each child being who they are in this safe space. Cleanly, Happy, Patient, and Loving are just a few words that come to mind. We teach children how to work through problematic situations with other kids (like hitting or biting) in a kind and forgiving manner. The kids that come to this daycare are loved and usually hate leaving at the end of the day because they’re having so much fun where they are! We provide a variety of activities and keep them all entertained. It’s a great place and I’m thankful to have been apart of it.
My grandchildren go to Antsy-pants and I am really pleased with their care. The kids are greeted warmly every morning and they have made friends there. I appreciate the diversity of both the kids and staff there. My grandchildren will be growing up and going to school with these kids and I feel it opens their world up to people who are different than they are and they learn that we are all more alike than different. The kids are well cared for and there is always plenty of staff to watch all of them. I can contact the owner day or night, we communicate often and if there is an issue it gets addressed right away. I am very happy with Antsy-Pants and would recommend it to anyone.
When I started work again, I was lucky to have found Antsy Pants daycare to watch my two young boys. It is hard for a child to make such a huge change and start daycare, but Sandi and her team made sure my boys got the attention and care they need. They listen to the childrens' needs and they let the kids get fresh air and play on the playground whenever it's nice outside. I would recommend them to everyone!
My 2 children have been attending Antsy Pants Daycare since the spring of 2015, and our experience has been wonderful! The staff members are friendly, helpful, and my kids love it there! During the Iowa winters it can be hard to get everyone outside, everyday, but the summertime schedules are filled with outdoor activities and taking walks to the library to participate in the summer reading program. My kids are a little older now and usually only attend after school and on summer vacation, but we still love Sandi and all of her helpers! In nearly 5 years, I can only remember the daycare having to be closed twice for illness. For an in-home childcare, I think that's pretty amazing and shows her dedication to keep things running safely and smoothly for both the parents and children that attend.

I worked for Antsy pants for 4 years. It was my first Job and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Antsy pants daycare is and exceptional place for you to bring your kids and know that they are looked after and well taken care of. There is always something fun to learn and play with for all of the kiddos. Sandi is a very warm and caring person. I really cant think of anyone that is a better fit for owning a daycare, taking care of and teaching other peoples children and finding other people that are just as caring and attentive as she is for the job. It is a very warm and inviting place for your kids to learn, grow and make friends! It's full of health snacks, nice voices and gentle touches. I highly recommend Antsy pants Daycare to anyone that is looking for childcare.
Very small. Not the cleanest and the children didn't seem to be having fun or leaning as I hoped that they would be. Will not be using her center or home; what ever it is.
