Description: St. Albans Montessori Academy of Learning is a re-established Program. It was originally established in 1985 and re-opened Fall of 2013. St. Albans Montessori is rapidly growing program providing a traditional Montessori environment, enriched with art, music, movement, and the students will study three languages.
St. Albans Montessori Academy of Learning is seeking an experienced Primary teacher for the ages of 2-5 years of age. NYS Early childhood certification/AMI certification, AMS certification preferred. Bachelor's or Masters degree in Early Childhood Development, Education or preferred. Must be qualified to teach Birth to Kindergarten in New York.
Hours will vary. 10 month School program /2 month Summer program. Scheduled Working Hours: 7am-6:30pm or 9am-3pm

I don’t understand how this school is still in business. It could be affiliations with their crooked political connections and friends within ACS and the DOH agencies. This school needs to be shut down! All they care about is money. They steal money and know how to cook the books with the help of their lawyer who is a trustee on their board. The teachers are treated poorly and excessively work year round without any breaks. The children are taught in a broken down school and served meals with dirty bowls and utensils. They are always giving inaccurate information to parents about their school. They recently fired their educational director because she was tired of their dirty work! This school is beyond unprofessional and a revolving door. They will tell you a bunch of lies to get you to work for them and then screw you in the end. The school gets UPK funding and money for classroom supplies but they keep all of the money for themselves. The teachers have to come out of pocket and is never reimbursed. The payroll woman acts like her life is so busy and never has any time to clarify things related to paperwork. She always has a nasty attitude problem. The head director (founder) pops up to sign paychecks. Now, ask yourselves is this somewhere you want your children to learn and a school you want to work for?
I GIVE THIS SCHOOL 0 STARS. THE STAFF IS VERYYY UNPROFESSIONAL. I WOULD NOT EVEN SEND MY DOG TO THIS SCHOOL. THE ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR, MRS. HOGAN IS RUDE. SHE SLAMMED HER DOOR IN MY FACE WHILE OTHER STUDENTS AND HER STAFF WERE THERE. THEY DO NOT GIVE HOMEWORK, ACADEMICALLY THEY ARE MAKING THE KIDS BE BEHIND. PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!
The place is excellent if you want your chid to prosper when they go to public school. They will be at an advance level and possible skip a grade consider this facility if you want to give your child a head start.
