Connect, Seek Advice, Share Knowledge
I would strongly suggest avoiding this daycare with your infant. I really liked Renee when I first met her and felt extremely comfortable with the laid back atmosphere. I used Robin's Nest part time (for only 3 days total) and noticed immediately that the caregivers were not feeding my child enough. I called and asked about it several times, but they expressed no concern, and to my knowledge didn't even seem to notice he wasn't eating. My son who takes 4-6 oz every 3 hours for all other caregivers that have watched him, only took 5 oz in the 10 hours he attended the daycare center. I even provided new nipples for them to try, and they did not use until I called concerned AGAIN that he wasn't eating.
I also had to ask for my child to not be given the community pacifiers, as it was cold season and did not want him sharing. Although they were sanitized in between children, that seemed very dirty to me.
To top it off, when I withdrew my child from the center, they asked me to continue to pay for him for the next month, even though his basic needs were not being met while he was there. We are currently fighting with them becuase we feel this is truely not fair.
I think with older children, this center would be a much better fit but if you are looking for your infant to get the individual attention they require, i would STRONGLY suggest looking elsewhere.
