Welcome to Reach 5 Play House, katayama family child care. Reach 5 Play House is where children learn through fun and play. Our mission is to empower, engage and educate children in their most important developmental years before entering kindergarten. About the Provider: Keiko Katayama Teaching Experience: • Pre-K to sixth grade, special needs children, English language learners • Kindergarten and elementary substitute teacher (ABCUSD) • Literacy teacher (Aloha Medical Academy, Lakewood) • English/Japanese language teacher (Yamato International School, Tokyo) • Japanese language teacher (Southeast Japanese Language School, Norwalk) • Administrative assistant for Preschool (ABC123 Long Beach Learning Center) Credentials (State of California): • Child Development Site Supervisor Permit (Cerritos College) • Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential (CSULB) Professional Training/Certificates: • Adult and pediatric first aid & CPR/AED • Health, Safety & Nutrition for Child Care • Background clearance-fingerprinting, criminal and child abuse checks • Mandated Reporter (AB 1207 Compliant) of known or suspected child abuse, physical, emotional, sexual and neglect Katayama Family/Pets: Husband Keita, daughters Yuki and Emi, a cat and a dog. Hours of Service: 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday Age Accepted: 2 to 5 years old. Capacity: 6 children maximum.
