Our mission is to empower, engage and educate children in their most important developmental years before entering kindergarten. About the Provider: Keiko Katayama Teaching Experience: • Pre-K to sixth grade, special needs children, English language learners • Kindergarten and elementary substitute teacher (ABCUSD) • Literacy teacher (Aloha Medical Academy, Lakewood) • English/Japanese language teacher (Yamato International School, Tokyo) • Japanese language teacher (Southeast Japanese Language School, Norwalk) • Administrative assistant for Preschool (ABC123 Long Beach Learning Center) Credentials (State of California): • Child Development Site Supervisor Permit (Cerritos College) • Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential (CSULB) Professional Training/Certificates: • Adult and pediatric first aid & CPR/AED • Health, Safety & Nutrition for Child Care • Background clearance-fingerprinting, criminal and child abuse checks • Mandated Reporter (AB 1207 Compliant) of known or suspected child abuse, physical, emotional, sexual and neglect Katayama Family/Pets: Husband Keita, daughters Yuki and Emi, a cat and a dog. Hours of Service: 7:00am - 6:00pm Monday - Friday Age Accepted: 2 to 5 years old. Capacity: 6 children maximum.
