Description: Bangor Early Childhood (BEC) is a program for any Bangor family with children ages birth to kindergarten. This home based program offered through Bangor Public Schools is based on the idea that the family provides the child’s first and most significant learning environment and parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. Using the Parents As Teachers model and materials, BEC works to strengthen families. Our goal is to enhance the ability of all parents to provide the best possible environment for their child’s learning and growth.
