I'm an elementary school teacher who has worked at many daycare centers, preschools, etc. and I was VERY picky about where my child was going to go for daycare. My son has been going to the Pumpkin Patch since he was 4 months old and I trust them with every fiber of my being! The teachers are wonderful, they are attentive to my constant emails and questions, my son is always happy to arrive and always sad to leave (even at 18 months!). The snacks are great, the price for tuition is very reasonable, and I love the feeling of welcomeness and support you get when you speak with any employee or the owner! We are looking for a new home and are basing our location around still being able to use the daycare! I would recommend them any day!
If I could give this center 0 stars then I would! I had my child at this center from the infant classroom all the way up to preschool graduation, but when ownership changed in mid 2016 everything went down hill. A lot of the regular teachers left and my child was thrown with random new teachers for the remainder of her time there. It was very concerning to see all of the teachers that my child was so attached to, suddenly leave, but then children started leaving as well.
The management team prior to the ownership change had a good rapport with the families, unlike the new owner. The new owner seems unapproachable and standoffish. I know that I am not the only dissatisfied parent, as I watched the enrollment drop lower and lower as time went on.
It has recently come to my attention that students were transported on a field trip without proper child seats and without parents being informed ahead of time about the way their children were being transported.
As a parent, I would not recommend this center to anyone!!!
This is a horrible place to send your children. When walking around the building all the toys are outdated and on the daily information sheet they kids are given cereal almost every day for snack. When I walk in to pick up my daughter you can hear constant yelling going on upstairs it's very uncomfortable.
