I agree with both previous comments as it still applies today (2017). Owner does not have any child care experience and lacks customer service as well. She can be very defensive if you bring any issues up to her. I'm concerned that all they care about the numbers as well. Every morning that I drop off, the teacher/child ratios exceed (significantly) by what is required by law. There seems to be a lack of communication between the teachers and management. This place has a lot of great teachers, but if they are not treated better, they will leave, as they should. Management seems to hide issues instead of dealing with the issue at hand so they can appear to be perfect. For example, there were multiple lice outbreaks, but they refused to send any communication out until several outbreaks later.

As a fellow teacher I am concerned about the future of this school.None of the members of the management staff have a background in early childhood education and it shows. The school is being run like a business, throwing teachers from room to room just to make ratio. The kids have no routine because the teachers are never in one room all day. New kids show up in the class and teachers were not even notified that they would be getting a new student. The school absolutely has potential,the management just needs to worry more about the staff and the children than the numbers. Quality is better than quantity.

I think this place has potential, but seems like they are still get acclimated. The owner has a business degree and business experience, but no experience with child development or daycares, and it definitely shows. I understand that it’s a business and needs to make a profit, but these are babies and children they are dealing with and more empathy should be demonstrated for the child and family. This should be treated as a baby/child mill. You get a nice booklet of marketing material when you enroll, but they don’t follow through on all the activities they advertise. I feel like I felt for their sales pitch, and have been disappointed many times. I once picked up my child when he had a fever and nobody even noticed when I picked him up, I immediately could tell he was burning up, it broke my heart to think that he was ill and nobody paid attention to it. This place is more expensive than the Goddard so I would expect stellar service, but the service has not met my expectations.
