Connect, Seek Advice, Share Knowledge
I want to share what we experienced so people are not blinded by the 5 star reviews only. On 12/07/2022, my 2 year old kid came back home from Primrose shivering, crying and asking for holding as soon as he saw me (his mama). He touched burning so we measured him, 102.7F. Then 30 mins later, he had a seizure which scared crap out of me and his dad. He passed out after the seizure. we followed the pediatrician office, waited until he woke up then went to emergency room and got diagnosed febrile seizure caused by fever, the doctor told us we shouldn’t have let his temperature go that high. My heart hurt to see him like that. Next morning I went to Primrose, met the owner Mr Falgun and told him what happened. My question was, why my kid came back with that high fever and nobody in the center noticed? Mr Falgun said he will investigate. So I came back home. The director Karen called me back, she said 102F was not that high, and keep giving me the example of the other girl she knew that had seizure, and said it is nobody’s fault in their center. She also said fever can happen very fast! Our home is only 5mins away from Primrose, so she meant my kid can develop fever in the 5 mins car drive?!!!!! It shocked me how Primrose not taking responsibility of this incident and think the fever which caused seizure is not a problem. They are good at managing, class is good, food is good, what about the caring of kid? Which is most important over others. I hope our story can help other parents who don’t know Primrose.
