Phelan - School History
Open since 1989, our Phelan campus is located in a pleasant neighborhood off Williams Road in San Jose. Our classrooms and play areas are large, which allows us to group children according to age in our infant and preschool classes and provide them with maximum outdoor free play and structured activities.
Many Phelan graduates transfer to the kindergarten program at our nearby Amber Drive campus when they are five years old.
We see what you see in your child. At Action Day Primary Plus, we strive to give children the opportunity to expand their knowledge, learn about their capabilities and to develop positive ways to express themselves. This starts with a warm and nurturing environment filled with plenty of activities that promote enjoyment and confidence. We provide enrichment activities for children as young as 18 months old.
Enrichment activities round-out the preschooler’s day
Our credentialed program directors, who have degrees in early child education and development, believe it is of the utmost importance to hire experienced, loving caregivers for their students. They are passionate about providing a safe, fun and stimulating environment for all children and a close- knit relationship with parents and families.
