Do not go here! They are a bunch of scam artist cares more about money then kids. I waited in the lobby and the caregiver did not pick up a crying child lying flat on her back for 10 minutes!!!!!!!!! Stay away!
I have used Pons for 2 months now and would like to let everyone know that the owner does NOT support the military and has no care in the world about the children. the owner has anger issues and your kid will be just another 600 dollars more a month. The teachers are sweet though. My kid was sick for those whole two months from constant colds/ear aches, diaper rash, and stomach virus. They are ridiculous with the policies and aren't willing to be flexible because it's their way or the highway. Again, if you are a military family like we are, you do NOT want to bring your kid to this facility
My son went to this daycare for almost a year and I had continual problems with the staff and the care of my child. His last week there was the worst experience that I've had. He came home with a bite mark on each arm, when his grandmother asked about it, she was told that I had to speak with the teacher about it. 2 days later he came home with a diaper rash so bad he has 3 open wounds on his private part. The next day when I asked the assistant director because the owner was out, about what happened, she was rude and condescending and told me she didn't know and that I needed to talk to the teacher because she wasn't back there with them that day. The ASSISTANT DIRECTOR couldn't even give me an answer or apology as to WHY this was happening and what was going to be done about it. When I went to ask the teacher, she made one excuse after another and still I received no answer about the bite marks or the diaper rash. After I left the owner called me and told me that I could no longer bring my son to that daycare and that I COULDNT PROVE THE BITES HAPPENED THERE because I mentioned this was negligence and I was advised to report it.. She got angry and started yelling. When I went back to pick him up right away, he was eating a snack with FILTHY hands. They were always asking me for wipes which I continually provides. They weren't using them to change his diapers or wipe his hands before meals. I mentioned that the owner just didn't care and she said 'no I don't care'. Needless to say that was my last day there, I don't know what took me so long to remove him from that facility to one that actually cared and provided for the kids the way they should be.
Regret is the word I use for using this daycare. Beware of this daycare! If you want the best for your children stay away from this place!
My daughter has been at Pons III since she was 8 weeks young (Nov 2011). I have enjoyed our experience with the staff and care given. My daughter doesn't cry when we drop her off, she enjoys going to daycare and looks forward to seeing the teachers. Of course, there have been a few dislikes, as there would any other facility however, the pros far outweigh all of that. I feel comfortable with the care provided at Pons and the ladies seem to genuinely care about the children. Only thing I wish they could change would be to staff for a higher teacher/child ratio. Especiall in the toddler rooms. These children are rambunctious and there's a lot of room for scuffles to occur and injuries when teachers are being sent home throughout the day. Thanks for reading! -Kim
My son went to this daycare for 8 months. For a period if time he came home about every other day with his clothes soaked in urine. I complained twice but they said it was my son's fault. One day my wife picked out son up and there were 6 bags of urine soaked clothes hanging on the wall under the child's name.
