This place is the worst place to put an innocent child in for care, the seem to be nice, but they torture your baby behind doors they don't report any injuries to parents, they don't take care of your child as they say, and they are all hiding their secrets don't want to explain anything to you, every time I pick up my baby I find physical abuse very visible, sometimes bloody mouth, bumps in the head and scratches on the skin every were
This is the worse experience I have had with a pre-k school. My child got written up the very first day and everyday after that because this is new to her and she was afraid to go into the classroom..
They would not even allow me to take my child to the classroom to try to get her settled. What are they hiding in the back there? My child was very scared to go through those doors. Three days in a row she cried and didn't want to go in the class. I begged them to allow me to take her in but the don't even try to help them get adjusted.
My child was terminated after that. But they talk about having an A+ school. That only because they kick out any child with a personality that does not behave like a robot.
I am very displeased with this facility and I WILL NOT RECOMMEND this place for your child. The teachers are rude and God alone knows what goes on behind those closed doors that we are not allowed to go through.
Hope they get closed down soon.
Very upset parent..
The teachers have bad attitudes and are not friendly at all. I took my child there, first time at a preschool in general. And like any other child with this as a first time experience, he was crying. All staff were reluctant to attend to him, my husband and myself. The teachers did not even try to make the attempt to make the experience easier on him. then they ripped him off my arms, I wasn't allowed to come into the class with him due to their idea of "it causing interruptions to the class and making it more difficult on the child". I waited in the lobby and could hear my child screaming and crying the whole time. This went on for 20 minutes. All the teachers ignored that we were their, including the Director. She did not even make eye contact with me. Then she finally looked at me and said the he stopped crying. She completely lied in my face because I could hear him crying hard for me. After that I completely lost all confidence in them. I could hear his teacher telling him that she wanted her momma too and that he had to be quiet. After 30 minutes of this ridiculous experience, I asked for my child back and explained that this is definitely not the right atmosphere for him. The director said ok, brought my son to me, and said she could not refund the money (cash) I paid until 5 business days and that I will lose my enrollment fee. I called 5 days later, and now she states that I will also lose the week pay for the 30 minutes he was there. There's no corporate number and no owner number. This is the worst place to take your child. I would never recommend this place to any one.
Because there is no zero I cannot choose a ZERO star. My son attended this facility for only 1 month exact! One Monday my son was given a total of Four bites from another child. Ones which they weren't even aware of. The next day they schedule a meeting, the teacher resign due to being "overwhelmed" and didn't even phase me on the meeting. They assured me that the child who inflicted the bites on my son was "terminated" and I stupidly out of my good trust worthy heart gave them another chance to keep my son there. A trust that was again broken the following day of the meeting when my child received TWO MORE bites! Once again without an explanation and also denying my rights to see the videos of the so called "cameras that they have" I do not wanna be seen as the 1 bad experience parent because there is many parents there who have their share of stories of bad things happening to their children but have no choice but to go there. I CANNOT be like them, my son no longer goes there and I could only which I could post the pictures of my sons bites that were done to him because of their act of negligence. This wasn't fair for my child! I do not want other parents to suffer what I have suffered over this. Do not go here it will only bring you nothing but pain and guilt for bringing your child to this facility who is supposed to have an 88% of one of the best schools in Poinciana. Thank you for taking your time reading this. And I hope to God that you believe my story. Thanks.
My daughter began at Poinciana 247 Pre-K at 4 yo and had no previous experience in a daycare setting. She had only been cared for by family prior to attending. Unfortunately, we did not take as much time to prepare her for Pre-K so she was at a disadvantage. But by the end of the school year my daughter had made the honor roll and was learning high frequency words and blending sounds. When she entered Kindergarten at our local public school she was so well-prepared that much of the curriculum she had already been exposed to at Poinciana 247 Pre-K. She is about to finish Kindergarten and is a straight A student and is doing so much better than I had ever imagined...THANKS TO THE FOUNDATION THAT POINCIANA 247 PRE-K PROVIDED!!!
Contrary to the comment before this, I found Poinciana Pre-K to be one of the BESTt schools in the area. I well-educated, seasoned staff who are very courteous, respectful and will to work with you r child to get the best results! If you are still unsure - schedule a walk through and receive a wonderful, informative tour of their curriculum and FABULOUS facility (including an AWESOME water park on the premises!)
The worst school ever. The owner is very rodeando disrespectful.
