My children really loved it at Playtime. We recently had to move to Kansas City and they are pretty upset that they had to leave. It was always so clean there and the atmosphere was very bright and warm. The teachers were all very nice and my kids always came home happy.
This message is coming from Playtime Learning Center Staff and is addressing a few negative comments posted on different websites concerning our center. The source of the negative posts are from one misguided parent who put multiple posts several times under two different names. It appears that she was trying to make it look like there is more than one complaint (which is not the case). We believe her to be a loving and protective parent who over-reacted to a misunderstanding of the actual situation. Sometimes our emotions cloud our vision and make it hard to see the real situation. Her allegations were reviewed and investigated by the State of Missouri Child Care Bureau and found to be unsubstantiated.
We use praise and positive reinforcement in the classroom. Crying children are given special attention while experiencing separation anxiety. We slowly introduce new experiences and assure you that your child is in a warm, safe environment. We have been in business for 40 years and have always held high standards in caring for your children. We invite you to come visit our center. We have an open door policy.

Playtime Learning Center and Staff
My son attended here full time until recently. He just started Kindergarten!!! Playtime is very clean and the staff is very nice and their love for children is apparent. They also have a great educational program. My son loves it here, and will now be attending for before and after school care :)
Great daycare! I have two children ages eight and five. Both my children attended Playtime since they were two. The staff is warm and caring. They also have a great academic program, my oldest is in the gifted program in elemenmtary school and my five year old will be going into kindergarten this year. I would highly recommend this daycare!
TERRIBLE daycare I took my 2 year old son there that was VERY apprehensive and when he becgan to communicate better he told us that they would put him in the "baby" room and turn the lights off untill he quit crying!!!!! WHO DOES THAT, he also told me that happened to all the kids that cryed I am guessing they only do it to the younger ones because they cannot communicate it to their parents. I would NEVER recommend this daycare.
