Where's the button for zero Stars that's what I want to know these people are the worst day care facility in Brevard County in my opinion my daughter started attending this facility about 2 years ago her grades have gone from A's and B's to C's my daughter came home from daycare one day talking about another child in class saying that her grandmother was abusing her I reported it to the school for fear that this child was being abused instead of the school calling the Department of Children and Families to investigate the allegation they went straight to the grandmother who works for the school board told her of the allegations and told her it was my child who accused her of it that woman was allowed to come into my daughter's classroom at the daycare and reprimand her and another student in front of the daycare teacher who was fully aware of what was going on when I called the school to complain that this woman was allowed to approach my child and reprimand her for reporting child abuse to the administration they assured me that they would handle it which I'm pretty sure they didn't because the same grandmother was allowed to come into the same classroom with my daughter everyday and pick her granddaughter up from school I don't feel they ever call Department of Children and Families like they're obligated to for the safety and well-being of the children that they care for. Then more recently my daughter comes home to inform me that her friend told her the teachers said these girls were going to grow up and hang out in bars and gamble all their money away when they grow up what kind of person says something like that in front of daycare children so I reported it to the director and her response was I know these teachers personally and I don't think they would say such a thing but I'll look into it and I'll get to the bottom of it then 5 days later I go into the school just to find my daughter in the same classroom with the same teachers who insulted her I sought out the director and when I found her and asked what is going on did you confirm what I told you she said she pulled the other child decide and the child confirmed exactly what I told her that the teacher said but said she had to continue her investigation 24-hours after confronting her I receive an email that I need to evaluate whether their daycare center is a good fit for me are you kidding your teachers are accused of insulting the children and now you want me to re-evaluate whether the daycare center is a good fit for me then 2 days later she sends me an email canceling bus transportation for my child!!!!! Then after I send emails requesting information in regards to their investigation after several emails she finally admits to me that the allegations were unsubstantiated really you just told me that you pulled the child out of class and she confirmed exactly what I told you and now you're telling me it was unsubstantiated because the teachers are denying it nice to know that the teachers can lie and get away with it and treat our children like crap that's awesome!! Even though in their parent manual it states they will not tolerate sarcasm raised voices or derogatory statements made to the children but if they make derogatory statement in front of the children that's okay!! And let's not mention while I'm confronting the director in her office about what her investigation is going to consist of the teacher leaves all of the afterschoolers in the classroom by themselves and comes to the front desk to ease drop over our conversation this woman should be charged with neglect of all of those children as well as the Director who was standing right there while it was all happening!!! I've heard these teachers raise their voices to the children and now I know that the children are allowed to hear the teachers insulting them and get away with it and they're going to allow other parents to come in and reprimand your children without your knowledge or consent anytime they see fit because they do whatever they want whenever they want!! Their contract states that you have to give them a two week notice before you discontinue care but yet they don't have to give you notice before they disenroll your child!!! Beth Moran John Moran I've requested over six times through your director to call me I've also left messages at your other daycare facility off of Mitten pineapple Cove Classical Academy and ask them to leave messages on your desk for a phone call back still I have not received a phone call from Beth Moran nor have I received a phone call from John Moran so if you think you're going to post a response to my review on here and that's going to be good enough just wait for my response to your response!!!! This place is a joke and should never hold a license to care for anybody's children!! I read a review earlier that all they care about is your money well that person was right that's all they care about is cashing your check every single week!!! They don't give a crap about your children!!! It's too bad I didn't ask to review the video myself!!! I'm still searching for 0 Stars!!!

Here at Pineapple Cove Academy, our top priority is to ensure the children's happiness, safety, and well-being each and every day that they attend school. I chose Pineapple Cove because when I needed a daycare for my son when he was 4 or 5 months old I thought it was the best around. I loved the teachers in the infant room. The infant room teacher were very nice, my son especially loved Mrs. Bunny. However, the same cannot be said for the staff in the Waddlers 1 year old room. I recently pulled my son completely out of that daycare after learning from his teachers that they were force feeding him. My son had been in the 1 year old room for a month and we were having issues with feeding him, my son didn't like eating chunky food. He did well with dry foods and snacks though. I made an agreement with Becky the Director that my son would be allowed the pureed baby food only as a back up per his pediatrician because he has to eat and can't be forced to eat chunky/finger foods if he's not ready. I had some issues in the beginning with the staff not feeding him his food and even his bottles. They blamed these issues on the other teachers stating that so and so said he drank all his breast milk. Little did I know this was the least of my worries. Charlene was the teacher that was the most against him eating pureed food and was trying to plead her case that it was confusing for my son...despite what I said and what his pediatrician said and their director Becky had agreed to. She then says, "WE HAVE TO FORCE HIM TO EAT, AND IT LOOKS BAD WHEN OTHER PARENTS WALK BY AND WOULD LOOK BAD ON VIDEO TOO." Really if something looks bad it is bad. The other teacher Robin claimed they hadn't had to force feed him for a few days and Charlene says no we had to do it yesterday. I was never informed of this before, only that they had "trouble feeding him". So despite having cameras in there on display your children are not as safe as you believe. I asked to see the video and Becky showed me and sure enough, Charlene didn't even attempt to get my sons attention she grabbed his cheeks by his chin , tilted his head back and shoved food in. When he started to refuse she held his mouth closed, yes that's right made him chew the food. I didn't have the time to watch the video feeds from the entire month that he was there but I would hate to see what they did to him when he really put up a fight. Then Becky said she would move her out of my sons room. Move her out? I said you need to fire her. The Owner Jon said they would "suspend her". Really? Really? What if this had happened to their child? Jon tried to give me a free week to get me to stay, I don't think so. My son was a good eater before all of this, now he freaks when I put him in the high chair and it's hell to try to get him to eat any foods. I wouldn't recommend anyone to send their child here.
