I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I did not like this daycare. At first I did because they seemed to really care about providing the preschool necessities for my child, but I started noticing things. I noticed that whenever I came in, all the girls would be up at the front desk laughing and joking around, just hanging out...Like almost ALL of them. When I would go in the back to pick up my child, there would be one girl back there with a majority of the kids. I would catch her screaming loudly at the kids until she would see me come in and then she would change her tone. She was harsh in the way she would speak to the children. There was only one girl that worked there that stayed calm, cool, and collected with the children that I noticed. That's ANOTHER thing, all the staff, minus the owner are really young. they just want to play and talk to each other. There had been a few times I walked in to the room that my child was in and the kids would be playing with no supervision. I also had once incident where they took my child somewhere and I was not notified before they did it. Also, there would be times I would pick my child up and my child's clothes would be really messed up/dirty or there would be stuff all over them. The daycare workers would tell me they painted, or gave them ice cream, etc...okay you couldn't give them aprons while working with paint or something? or change child's clothes? isn't that the reason I bring in extra clothes? In the morning time, the owner is there with all the kids until someone else comes in. So she is basically trying to take care of all infants that have been dropped off in one room and the toddlers in another room. When I finally removed my child, there were notes on my child's paperwork that showed problems my child was having with different assignments. I was never notified so that i could work on the issues at home. They would almost never offer any information on my child's academic performance, I had to ask if my child was doing okay. they have this program called mychildnow and they almost never fill it out so you can know how your child did during the day, so it's pointless. I believe the previous reviewer's story on here because of what i witnessed, everyone at the front talking instead of working and yelling at the kids...the care didn't seem to be there for the price your paying to be there. The reason for two stars is the hours are good and the facility is clean. Oh and there were plenty of times I saw them over 10 kids per person which is very hard to do with little ones. and a few times i went past the infant room and didn't see someone in there. Also, they rarely go on trips like they claim. Not worth it.

If i could give 0 stars I would. I recently worked here and the way it was run was horrible. I was placed in a room with 15 preschoolers, by myself, on my first day. And then with 12 toddlers, and then 15 infants. All by myself. Half the time the staff was roaming around talking to each other & leaving the kids alone, or they were playing with their own children. I saw the them place a little girl in time out for an hour while her friends went outside to play, just for kicking. And i watched as a staff memeber PUSHED DOWN A 10 MONTH OLD BABY for clinging to her own daughter. The baby hit his head on a crib and cried and she acted like nothin happened. Horrible, horrible, place.
